I will present you some pictures reflecting the power and ambition of giving New Worlds to the World. Some monuments are the testimony of that. The Monastery of Hieronymites and the Tower of Belém, for example, exemplifie Portuguese art at its best. It is a reminder of the great maritime discoveries that laid the foundations of the modern world.
